i know its off topic, but I c u r based in Lagos, Nigeria. I was appraoched to c if I was interested in a position for an A319 based there. Curious if you could tell me, how the working/living conditions r there. I hear crime and corruption are common.

What part of Lagos are you living in? It's nothing but poor and the streets lined with the homeless.

Like I said, it's third world. That already implies many things, all of which apply to Lagos.

And, like I said, it's rich. Oil rich. So, like most places on earth with a valuable commodity, a small number of people get virtually all the money, and the overwhelming majority get nothing.

At night, the streets are not lined with homeless people, as you suggest (and unlike any major city in the USA). They'd get robbed if they were. I've stepped over one dead body on the sidewalk, but never a homeless guy. Sorry if that doesn't meet your expectations of the place. Here's a pic (that I've posted before on this site) of the neighborhoods near the Lagos airport:
