Alaska's latest pay raise

According to this website, Alaska has a contractual pay raise effective Apr 1st.

Anyone got the new rates?

The pay raise wasn't significant. It was less than $2 for FOs and less than $3 for captains.

1.8%
1.8% on April 1, 2011
1.5% on April 1, 2012
Amendable on April 1, 2013 so probably no raises until 2015 after the 2012 one.

Ouch, that's kinda insulting.

With the standard inflation rate of approximately 3.4%, basically Alaska is taking a concession each year they get a "pay raise".

Sorry to hear it.

It is insulting but that's not the "standard inflation rate" - at least not lately. I believe there's no inflation for 09 and will probably be very little if any for 10 - that's what happens in recession.
