Pan Am?
|
There will only ever be one Pan Am and she's been gone a long time now and probably for the better considering the state of aviation nowadays .
These guys want to make a go of it , go ahead and knock yourselves out just don't make a mockery of the name like the last group of people did . Ally |
Bob Hedrick bought the name rights along with a 135 certificate a few months ago... Never met him, but know more than a few who have been approached for financing. He has the city of Brownsville and their EDC eating out of his hand. His business plan has big ideas, but dude, there's only so much you can do in Brownsville, and I don't know if he can get the funding he needs to support the plan.
He also claims to be a former USAF general, but there is no evidence of that in all the historical general bios. Who the heck knows anymore... |
Their website is a piece of garbage, and they need to hire somebody to do some proofreading. The whole idea and soon to be company is a joke. Kinda like this place that used to be called Family Airlines...
AVATAR AIRLINES - Official Website At least Avatar Airlines has a better designed website. The quote on the front of the website cracks me up... "It's about time someone came up with this idea. Airfares are getting so expensive and with the higher costs, the old fashioned customer service has suffered. Thanks Avatar!" Air fares are getting expensive? What is this guy smokin'? |
What is this, number 4? Notice they don't use the globe logo. Number three probably still has the rights to the logo. Tracking the cargo link down, they have plans to run 737 freighters next year. Good luck.
And this should to "Upstart" (or dreaming.) |
My guess is that you'll see the sun rise out of the west before the "NEW" Pan Am take flight once again.

There should ba a law against using names of once great carriers. Pan Am, Frontier, Republic, when absolutely nothing of the original carrier exists.

Good Timing
Pan Am wants to service Mexico and it appears the main airline of Mexico is going OOB (out of business).

I'm sure Juan Trippe is rolling over in his grave...
|
Would rather he rise from his grave in vengeance!
