Why separate CAL/UAL forum?
 

Just wondering why we have to go to another forum area to read about the CAL/UAL merger, when on the main forum we have DAL/NWA, SWA/AT, etc.? Heck, one DAL thread has over 4.2 million views and I don't know how many 10's of thousands of responses and is still going strong. Maybe IT should be moved to it's own forum area. Personally I feel that a thread with over a couple of hundred responses is enough since going through 40,000+ responses to find something is a bit much. JMHO

I think it is when you are dealing with merger issues it gets its own section.

DAL/NWA had its own subforum for a while during the merger IIRC...

I would Imagine that AT/WN will get a "merger sub-forum" of its own pretty soon.

The CAL/UAL forum is a merger forum, feel free to post about either airline in majors forum, although many have found it convenient to have merger related threads in a dedicated forum. At some point in the future we'll merge the CAL/UAL forum back into the majors forum.
