Anyone know what day the BOD votes to elect a new ALPA president?

Scott Scratton for President - the FDX MEC Chair. He's been great at a union that was very unhappy with old leadership. Very fair, extremely fiscally disciplined and knowledgeable. He'd be good and a lot better than the current President.

A dead turtle would be better than the current moustache.

Yeah, but I hear Tim Martins is running his campaign so he'll be difficult to beat.

Rice was shunned by his own pilot group to elect Prater (speaks volumes about the UAL MEC's judgement and Rice). I'd guess this go round, it's going to be a race against Moak and Scratton?

I sure hope Prater wins again. We don't want him back at the new United. Only kidding. Lee Moak is a moron and Prater is a crook. The only one left is the Fed Ex candidate. I hope he wins.

We don't want Prater back at all...

I cannot comment on the other folks running, but I can tell you from first hand experience that Scott Stratton has the incredible ability to bring folks together, work well with others, and at the same time run a very business like organization. If anyone has questions about the work he has done or his background feel free to contact me via PM and I'll be glad to share my thoughts. I think its critical we get as many players as we can back on the same team, and I've seen Scott do that at our group. He runs a very transparent, honest operation that has proven very effective at our place.
