Default New 121 airline? (California Pacific Airline)

Climbto350 has had several different postings for a chief pilot, flight attendants, chief inspector, and director. It listed it as a new startup part 121 airline in San Diego County with crj700/erj175 airplanes. Does anybody know anything about this new startup?

Just this morning I found them listing the same set of positions on CalJob's site. They are California Pacific Airlines, California Pacific Airlines . Anybody know any more about them?

I got an immediate response when I first inquired. So I sent an email with a cover letter.

But, I live in San Diego.

makes sense, but I'm in Phoenix, it's a destination city.. who knows? I'm sure there are 10,000 emails with resumes in their inbox.. seems hopeless finding a job these days.

Called Omni and they want "Currency" .. not sure in what? 76? DC10? God knows.

Loosing currency is a tough one. Hope something pops up.

CPA is going to fly EMB 170. How can the 170 fly out of CQR? It only has 5000ft of runway. IF the 170 needs 5400 take off roll can the load be reduced that much to use 5000 ft and still be legal and still make money?

It's CRQ/CLD and its 4897, Doesn't repuplic land in the Bahamas or key west and the runway there is 4500. The payload will be the biggest question. Plus they are extending the runway at CRQ/CLD right?
