It just shows the ignorance of people, especially AMericans. Americans love to say that discrmination and racisnm went out in the 60's but actions and attitudes show for themselves.

People cant change their stripes

I guess I am just an ignorant american then.... Racial profiling hell yes. I don't see any white, black, or hispanic folks causing the radical problems throughout the world. The Christians have not called for Jihad on the rest of the west, there is only one group to blame. Radical Islam's. Should we be overly concerned for the safety of our citizens when riding on airplanes....YES. I truely feel sorry for this guy, if he is only going to work, that being said I would not want a questionable character in my cockpit. Period!! We need to quite being a society that thinks we all need to hold hands and get along, they don't and take advantage of our soft spots.

I agree with you. The problem a "questionable" character is a very braod term. Al I am saying is that most Americans (of any race) seem to believe a "questionable" character is anyone of arabic or middle eastern descent. Thats why I say what I say.

Also, I just spent a year in Iraq defending this nations freedoms and I personally saw the attitudes of American soldiers. SO I dont speak out of opinion, I speak from experience. Thanks.

I totally agree with your post here. I live in Hamburg and we have quit alot of muslims here. I personally have very bad experiences with them (I've seen people robbed by them, friends of mine were beat up, I've been shoved around and only because of two men helping me they didn't do anything worse etc.). I have no such experiencess with any people so far. They are the ones causing terror and death in the world. They want to kill all western civilisation so please be more careful with such people. Of course there are people who think differently and come from the middle east(...) but I think people who do not want to identify themselves with terrorists should try and show this externally.

excuse me for being the person to pour even more salt in a wound here, but i agree that america right now is too torn up about justice for all. yes, i understand that there are some decent people out there, but the fact remains that we manage to **** off more people than we please. that being said, i am very skeptical of anyone who looks the part of a terrorist. does this make me a racist? to those hand holders that cry for world peace, of course it does. to a red blooded american, im just one in the same. i dont want bin laden's brother on my plane. last i checked, the terror web that the CIA put together is almost 6.5 million deep.. thats pretty good odds

ps. i was there to see the WTC remains... if you had been there too, you'd see why i feel so strongly about this

Dude, before you start pointing the finger at Americans and our racism, visit some other countries and see how open minded they are.
