Kalitta or JetBlue
I saw a thread on another pilot forum from someone trying to figure out what airline provided the best career outlook. I don't know what his or her final decision was but I thought it made for an interesting read. Both airlines are in a growth mode but have vastly different schedules, upgrade time and equipment. Any ideas on the best choice? (if one was lucky enough to have a choice)
Cargo forum seems to lean towards Kalitta. Thought I'd see if it was the same result on this forum.

The two carriers are so different there is no comparisson other than both fly planes. I think most of your questions have been answered on the other threads. It boils down to the life style you want to live.


FWIW: I'm in the bottom 30%, live in base and average 15-18 days off at JB. I couldn't imagine a 12-21 day trip because it would land me in divorce court faster than gas prices are rising. I have a good friend at Atlas who loves it to the end of the earth. It doesnt surprise me that the cargo forum likes the whale vs the bus. You will find an equal number of love hate on either side i'm sure.
