I hear from a certain 737 check airman who happens to be the head of USAir's and AW's merge, that republic might carry the USAir titles soon

Your post makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. How can a check airman be the head of a merger between two carriers? and what does one of our feeders have to do with any possible merger other than providing more feed? they allready have larger airframes coming to them. And while I'm at it, sorry if this is a little "anal" but "USAir" is the old name, the name of the NEW airline is "US Airways" and we prefer it that way, thank you.
