I went to the Air.Inc in Nov. and had a chat with one of the recruiters face-to-face. I wonder if that helped me at all. Still no call. 4 internal recs, degree,121 turbine PIC and had my app in for almost 1 year.
Did anyone receive a call from just attending Air.Inc

I think the airinc is a big waste of money... Kit Darby at his finest, jobs for everybody... yeah, right.
You wait in line for hours on end, then shake the hand of a recruiter, looking over your recruiter and tell you that you're qualified... i may as well pay that to a psychiatrist to make me feel better... But in these times, anything helps, eh?

Myself and two friends went to the Airinc jobfair in Atlanta this past November. All three of us have been given interviews since then at CAL and Airtran. My friends start at CAL in the next two weeks and I have a job lined up at Airtran.
I'm not crazy about the idea of paying for face time, however I do believe our interviews came from it.
Good luck!

One had an internal rec, the other did not. Both are military heavy pilots, about 3000 total/1500-2000 PIC. I also have an interview coming up there, 3 internal recs, same flight hour numbers. I did not have anybody walk in my stuff.

There is no walking your stuff in. Have your buds stop by their CP and ask them politely to pull your file. The CP will evaluate it with your buds and will either place it in a good stack or explain to your buds what you need to do to be more competitive. It's just that simple.
100% correct. No walk in to CP=no hire

I apologize. From what the CP told me, it depends on who the internal rec is from!! I.E. you and Larry are golfing buddies. Things like that help...as I understand it.
