Default What ever happened with the NWA Flight Attendants???

Anyone heard anything new regarding their push to strike or the judge that is weighing the sides?

Default Judge blocks Northwest attendants from striking

http://yahoo.reuters.com/news/articl...mktNews&rpc=44

So now your contract can be thrown away, you can have any pay and benefits that the company wants imposed on you, and you still cannot strike.

Absolute Bull Sh**!!! How does this happen? You hear people say we should stick together and fight for things to get better. What the hell does it matter if some judge can just say you have to put up with whatever baloney mgmt. says?

It's crap like this that is ruining the industry and worse than that, unions and really the entire middle class in this country. I don't know how much longer the rich are gonna keep gettin' richer and the margin between rich and poor (middle class) getting larger, but someday the blue collared workers from every service and industrial industry has to say enough is enough!

as a NWA flight attendant just looking at these messages, it is great to see we are not alone in our feelings. It is awful what decision the judge has made. NWA has put on a dog and pony show to the judge by recalling everyone and now they are offering everyone leaves. They were snowing the judge by saying "see, we can't have them strike for our lively hood. We are now recalling. So he based his decision on their sneaky ways. Management are theives and we as a group are very ****ed off!

It's gonna be interesting to see what excuse Dougie Steal'in is going to come up with now. Gas was at $77/brl, now it's around $64.

Dougie jerk put money in his pocket! I can understand being in Bankruptcy to cut on all of the work forces but to force an unlivable contract on us for 5 years is what is unbearable! Back 12 years ago when I first started, we went under concessions and I actually qualified for food stamps. So far in my little 12 years there, we have only had 5 years of a decent contract and they never bought back our concession stock that we won in court for them to do. So now another 5 years of the worst contract ever and the company will turn profits within 1-2. So where will that extra money go????????????????? Yea, that is right...in his pocket!
