American Jumpseat Listing

I've been told there is a way to list on line for jumpseats on American for OAL pilots. I've not been able to find where or how to do this and was wondering if anyone can give me the web site address or tell me how to go about creating a listing. Thanks!!!

This link is a good start (excerpt below link addressing listing on-line):

American has recently rolled out an online booking tool that will eventually replace the 888 telephone number. The old 888-WEFLYAA telephone system will remain in effect until further notice. To use this online booking system, you will have to get in touch with your interline travel department or your management as American Airlines is sending specific instructions to your respective carriers on how this will work. IF you can try it and use it, by all means go ahead and use it. If it doesn't work, use the telephone method, document your troubles with the online system and report it to your jump seat coordinator for forwarding to the AA jump seat coordinator. This site will be updated as details emerge. Thank You for your patience with this new system!! Website: www.aa.com

I J/S'd about two months ago via phone following the process outlined in the link and had no problems.

Gents,
I recently jumped on AA (thank you again btw) after having created a non-rev listing on the appropriate website. When I said hi to the gate agent, she got me a seat but did not seem the least bit interested in the flight locator.
I've seen agents in the past that were less than helpful if I hadn't created a listing. One off, or what gives?
Thank you in advance

Since you made a listing your locator (PNR) was in the system so she didn't need it.

If you don't make the listing they have to enter all the data. If they're under the gun it's more work for them when they're already short of time.

Been riding on American for several years as an OAJ. Prior to the last few years, I used to call the phone number mentioned in the thread to "Meal List" (AKA - Obtaining a Listing PNR) over the phone. AA's gate agents would not be "happy" if you attempted to check in for the JS at the gate if you had not completed the step mentioned above.

Starting about 2 years ago, my airline's JS Comm informed us that AA now prefers 'off-line/OAJ' jumpseaters to use the website in which to make the above mentioned PNR as we used to do over the phone in years past. I've used it several times, and have never had a problem when checking in at the gate after making a listing using the online method. NOTE.....When using this method, you are NOT getting on the JS list, your just building a PNR Listing in which to reference when you physically check in at the airport counter/gate.

Each airline that has an agreement with AA has their own Username/Password when entering the website listed below. You will need to speak with your own JS Comm in order to find out what that is in order to access the site and build your desired routing.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the help. Everything worked out on my flight from LAX to DFW today.

Is paying money to join this ID90 website the only way to jumpseat on American?

You should have an employer specific login and password. Check with your jumpseat coordinator.

AA & US have two very different JS policies. Does anyone know which one will prevail?
