USAirways cutting flying?

I was told by a Phx crew today that significant flying was going to be cut out of the schedule. Is there any truth to this? And if so how's much? And when? They mentioned the whole last bank in Phx being cut!

We are at minimum fleet count now on the west side-120 tails. Not much of a way to do this without violating the TA.

Just wondering-- do you guys (both on the east and west sides) have a block hour minimum in addition to a minimum fleet size?

Are you also at min block hours on the east and west sides?

So what happens if the company needs to go below the minimum? Do they first have to cut x number of block hours from express in order to cut anymore from mainline?

If your CEO is having friendly golf outings with our CAL/UAL CEO, I'm sure he is picking up a few tips on how to violate the TA and CBAs. Our union just filed two more grievances having to do with violations of aircraft/hours during an on-going merger.
