Alaska Capacity
Question for Alaska folks. I saw that your November traffic increased by 7.8% on a capacity rise of 4.8%. But the report also says that Horizon traffic decreased by 15.3% on a capacity decrease of 18.8%. So is Alaska Air Group just shifting the Capacity to mainline which is good, while shrinking the RJ less fuel efficient fleet? Overall the Capacity seems to be shrinking for the group, but mainline flying gets to benefit. Alaska thoughts???

I'm pretty certain the Horizon capacity decrease is from Skywest flying the RJs and them transitioning to an Q400-only fleet.
Alaska capacity growth is from more 800s, fewer 400s and more hours flown. Furloughees are all back on campus and just now starting to interview. Very modest growth. Original 2012 growth was for 8% but revised to 6% with a whopping 8 new captains in our latest position bid.
