Alaska Airlines Jumpseat

I'm looking to jumpseat on Alaska Airlines. I've never jumped on them before and was wondering if they had a number to list in advance. Also is there any way to check the loads? If not I'll just check in at the gate.

Thanks.

You can check loads by going to their web site, https://www.alaskaair.com/, doing a search, and clicking "Seats." You'll get the below screenshot of what the revenue load looks like for that leg. No need to call ahead, just show up at the ticket counter or gate.

Alaska is great to jumpseat on...

no process to call ahead for the jumpseat.

It's first come, first serve at the gate.

One of the very best Jumpseat experiences in the business. Great folks from agents to FA's to pilots. Just walk up to the gate with your ID, Passport, and License and they will take care of you

All true. Just come to the gate. If there are seats in back, the CSA will issue you one. If you have to sit in the cockpit, they'll be glad to gate check your bags and they'll be waiting for you in the jetway at your destination.

Sounds like a good operation. Thanks again for the responses.

I'll add that if you are trying for a relatively full flight, try to be in line at the gate 1 hour prior to push, per our policy manual - first some, first serve for offliners.
