Any "Latest & Greatest" about US Airways?

Aside from the ongoing east/west seniority list dispute, whats going on at US Airways these days? Merger rumors? Any more news about the slot swap? Getting the 10 E-190s back?

Just got an email from them saying they are no longer considdering applications for new-hires.

No word on the 190s, but our management is dead set against expansion. Waiting for attrition to kick in and unknown change in rest rules. Rumors of 25 hires a month starting next year for the east, not confirmed.

That's a great way to play it. Sit back and see what happens. I got the auto kick out email today too. I too have heard of the 30/mo new hires for 2012. The system purge could be for a new requisition.
