Yes, Jet Blue will not last, just like Virgin America and all the other small start up airlines. Pilots will want good wages or leave for better things. Jet Blue will be forced to jack up prices, which inevetably will lead to people not flying with them. When the ticket prices are the same, people will prefer legacy airlines. It's always the renowned name that succeeds. Southwest on the other hand is here to stay and eventually will grow bigger. They have good management and a good business plan. I personally do not see any of the legacy airlines going down. If they would have, then it would have happened right after 9/11. The way I see it, we are exciting hard times and about to enter normality. Regional airlines will soon stabilize and see that they can no longer go down any further; the weak regionals will also crumble down just like Low Cost Carriers.

Just My Two Cents.
