Heard the CS100 will be very fuel efficient when configured with 76 seats! :D

And a lot of extra expense having a redundant executive team with associated bonus, additional accountants to manage the extra set of books, the auditors to make sure that subsidiary airline is in compliance, etc...

The first 70 will fly with 76 seats. Then after the next hiccup in the economy or higher fuel prices (coming soon), Delta will cry to DALPA that it doesn't make sense to fly them with 76 seats (and 100 seats makes WAY more sense). Delta pilots will once again give scope relief (in exchange for some small carrot). After that, they will all just come with 100 seats. ;)

Except RAH, or anyone for that matter, is prohibited from operating the C-Series for Delta in any capacity. ;)

If:
A) RAH is allowed to fly prohibited aircraft, and
B) All C-Series are prohibited aircraft,
Then:
C) RAH is prohibited from flying all C-Series aircraft,
But only if:
D) C2012 specifically prohibits RAH from flying all C-Series aircraft.

^^^^ true, no matter the seats, no DCI could operate the C-Series as a DCI.

Only RAH is allowed to operate C-Series, E190s, Airbi etc as a competitor and as a DCI.

Actually, they can't. Not only can they NOT operate it under DCI, but if they operate it in any other capacity it may not be on routes that Delta operates. :)

So if RAH is flying a C-Series on ORD-DFW under American, or DEN-RDU as Frontier, or SEA-LAS under Alaska, then Delta is prohibited from placing an aircraft between those cities?

Nope. And RAH can't operate C Series for Alaska without voiding their DCI flying. :)
