Sorry if this question is a little off subject. Who has the bigger code share with Alaska? Is it Delta or American?

I'm not going to be a salmon thirty salmon and get hooked in.

May the best fish win in the coming merger.

I don't know for sure, but I believe DAL does. AS has moved closer to our terminals in many cities, and has some pretty special rights wrt flying thru our hubs (in the codeshare) I don't know all the specifics, but that would lead me to think ours is a little larger in.... scope.. ugh.

I think you're right, although AA management wants to significantly expand their labor busting outsourcing with AS as well as JB. But the sugar high of growth mode makes it look totally awesome to those benefitting from it.

Thanks for the replies. If a merger happens I don't know if Parker would expand the code share. I definitely don't think he would shrink it. Parker thinks highly of Alaska Airlines, I know that much.

I hope the pilots of both DL and AS read the DL MEC code share article. The research paper used the contractual language with actual data to explain what the code share agreement alllows and what effect it has on each pilot group. Might be good reading since most of what I've read on the board sounds like it came from a Glen Beck talk show.
