Southwest 737-800's
I was passing through Baltimore today and noticed two 737-800's with different tail numbers than the first two that were parked over by the A concourse in the parking area. How many 737-800's does SWA have on property now and what is the schedule of them now that there are more than 2 -800's on property?

Southwest Airlines (SWA) on March 8 took delivery of its first Boeing 737-800; it plans to receive 33 -800s by the end of the year.
It will take delivery of two more on April 22, two more on May 13, and by the August schedule, we'll have more than 20 -800s flying longer-haul routes like between Chicago Midway and the West Coast, between Baltimore/Washington and California, and between Florida and Las Vegas. |
At 7 am there were 4 800's in BWI this morning.

Have any of the 300s or 500s been retired?

WN gets more 737s. What a game changer. Wow!!!!
|
Scuse me, pardon me, but we were on the L&G, and wondering how we can turn this thread into a thread about Delta. I was sent over.
So... where is Delta going to let Southwest fly the 737-800?;) |
Hope you guys are getting the 26k motors on the jet.

Saw one @ PHX 2 weeks ago.
