Thumbs down

Beware of any airline that chooses a name like "SKYBUS". If they couldn't take the time to choose a name that implies some marketing prowess, business acumen, and plain old common sense. I doubt they've put much effort into a business plan. Probably more money than sense.

$65K/yr for an A320 Cap, pays about what a MuniBus makes in many cities, no thanks, I'll pass.

But thanks for sharing the info.

I asked on another thread, but I didn't see an answer. Where are these numbers coming from ($65K/yr)?

I picked up the phone and asked... took some effort, but I got an answer.

Well, now we know their business plan.

Shortbus, maybe we didn't get to fly a HerbTerd for a reason. Let's see what happens.

I talked with Hans their System CP at the Air Inc conferecnce and he stated 65K a year. They are working off of the Ryan Air business plan. 39 bucks each way to Mexico is what they are shooting for. Then they are going to sell everything under the sun on the a/c.
They are paying a salary and have PTO (personal time off), not vacation and sick time. They will fly your butt of and you will get nothing more for it.

No pay during initial ground/sim training and $50 buck per diem a day and I think you have to get you own room.
