Default NRT 757s included in domestic scope ratio.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the ratio (presented in TA) of DCI to domestic mainline includes the 757s in NRT. Am I the only one who thinks this is madness?

767ERs and 777s fly a good amount of domestic flying. I imagine it would pretty much balance out.

Thanks for clarifying that. I didn't understand this issue at the presentation I saw.

Just to double check, but the trans-oceanic flights on a 75ER also count towards the MBH, correct?

It's funny when someone who chastises people for not understanding what's in the TA posts a statement like this.

Yep, all narrowbody+non-ER 767 (which I'm assuming includes the 1400 series which are ETOPS have has the small fuel tanks and domestic seating config)

Fair enough. So let's look at the possibilities. What is the concern re: the 757s in NRT. Do you envision a problem with the 757s in Asia? I think the concern there should be more with the 737-900s, but that is just spitballing. I personally believe the RJs are not gonna have one single thing to do with the Pacific 757s.. nada.

What do your tea leaves say?

It's the fact that international inter Asia block hours are used in calculating our narrowbody block hours. That's flying that should not be used as DCI isn't even involved with it. JMO.
