It didnt offend me because it was fact. Again, I solicited input from pilots. Too bad there isn't an ignore button.

I did not intend for this to become a ****ing match about who can do who's job. I never expected FA input on a PILOT forum.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not here to beat up on flight attendants. Many are more educated and trained in other areas than I will ever be. All I'm saying is that a pilot can do a flight attendant's job, but I seriously doubt many of you could do our job without the years of training that we receive. Not being snarky, but what I'm saying is simply a fact.
I've been civil. I don't have "an attitude with pilots." Never have, never will. Many of my best friends are pilots and I happen to be in a long-term relationship with one.
I've just stated facts, offered my opinion which as USMCFlyer confirmed I am able to do. YOU guys are the ones with the nasty, disrespectful comments.

USMCFLYR

I thought back when I signed up the TOS said you had to be a pilot. Of course I know there is no way of verifying this for sure. But, am I wrong, was that not in the TOS at one point?

I personally don't care how civil you are. Nobody has been nasty, but if you think you can get on a pilot forum and play the "I am so important" crap and not get an unwelcoming response, you're wrong. The plane will fly without you.

Anyway, PILOTS, anybody care to share their concerns about FA's in KCM?

Please show me where I "played the I am so important crap." YOU'RE the one who said only pilots should be allowed in the program. I just stated a FACT that I could very well make the argument I had a more thorough background check than you, being cleared by the DOD. Nothing more, nothing less.

I could understand the frustration at the system though. I dont want to post too much detail but I can think of an airport that even the Burger King employees can bypass security. I can think of others that an FA might go through OPS instead of security. This is all posted multiple times on many forums, its not new info. I could understand their frustration at the system.

Thumbs down

What a bunch of arrogant a-holes around here.

If FA's, ATC, etc.... want to participate in this discussion board, more power to them. You certainly don't need to agree with their opinions, but to outright say they don't belong is preposterous. Having a wealth of information, from multiple perspectives, offers a well-rounded community.

I don't think FA's should be allowed through KCM, for many of the reasons cited here. However, those that suggest only pilots belong on this board should be ashamed of themselves. Ignorance at it's finest......

LNL76....Welcome! Not all pilots feel the same way as some around here.

Thank you, but I already knew that!
You were always a class act when we were fellow crew members.....

LNL76,

Look at how you responded to captnmajic. captmajic wasn't being "nasty or disrespectful" at all. You're not being taken too seriously because your tone is one of preconceived notions and having a chip on your shoulder.
