So, yeah the RJ use on new routes is disappointing, but sadly its to be expected until the JCBA prohibits it otherwise right? But nobody has anything positive to say about the new runs to Taipei, Paris and San Salvador?

Wasn't one of the routes DEN to ISN (Williston, ND)? Can a mainline plane fly that? Right now Great Lakes flies E120s to DEN and MSP from there due to the emerging oil industry. I would say 3 E145s might be a good start or test to see if an A319 could be viable. 3 RJs a day means 150 possible connections in DEN onto mainline planes, which isn't a bad thing. If the market matures, then larger planes could be warranted. That does suck for Great Lakes though.

The only exciting thing about new routes, is that you could possibly fly to a new destination. I'm sure the CAL guys LOVE Lagos. The Taipei and Paris routes are just taking a 777 and 763 off an existing route. It would be positive if additional airframes were purchased to fly those city pairs. San Salvador is probably made possible with a new 737 to the fleet.
