ICAO Terminology

The problem with the FAA P/CG is that it has some phrases that are not recognized in the rest of the world. For example the word, "Emergency" is universally understood in the US, although in the rest of the world "Mayday" and "Pan" are used.
While it's great speaking English to ATC everywhere we fly, just be aware that the US FAA is not standardized with the world.
