I'm mystified by this focus on FA attractiveness. As have many pilots, I've already made my selection and proceeded to the checkout counter. I go to work to work, not blow apart my life plan. Male, female, young, old, pretty, ugly: I don't care. Just say hi, pass me a Fresca, and do your thing.

It sure does boggle the mind. I can't for the life of me comprehend the fascination and vitriol over what a co-worker looks like (and how old she is.) Male passengers are no better as they think buying a ticket on an airline is akin to gaining admission into a strip club or Victoria's Secret photo shoot.
P.S. - I've also wondered what the "men" spewing this venom look like. I'm willing to bet they're nothing special yet have very high standards. Go figure.....

Now there's an idea! Maybe the airlines should look there to recruit new hire F/A's!
I recall when Hooters had an airline, for about a month, I saw some of their F/A's in the Hooters uniform at a gate in ATL. I wonder why they didn't last very long.

Those weren't the FAs. Those were "Hooter Girls" put on the airplane for, well, marketing. They were not allowed to touch the doors. The FAs were Pace Airways (airline?) employees. And some of those had been around. At least that's what a Pace employee told me. Angrypillotwife's husband flew there, I'm sure he has a few good stories!
