Default UAL Pilot Deploys Chute Instead

Well, I'm going on United soon to NRT. Better not have any delays of any kind.

Are you just trying to brag about going to NRT, or do you really feel there is reason to be concerned about a disruption to your UA flight to Japan due to this one isolated incident?

Vagabond,

When putting company on time ahead of safety, you most often get neither...

Once again, here is another example of why it is best to just TAKE THE DELAY and call MX.

Hope you have a SAFE flight to NRT,

SP

Ain't that the truth! We had a Captain at AAY that decided he could fix a slide pack on the L1 door and nearly killed the ramp agent when the slide blew.

It's a good thing good old cappy didn't have his trusty crowbar with him. Might have done some mods to the coach section simultaneously.

And so we end another episode of "Flip This Plane."
