Looking for UAL info
 

I'm in the position of advising some Delta guys on whether to sell their portion of the $2.1 billion bankruptcy claim or take the newly issued Delta stock.

Would any UAL guys fill me in on what happened with your claim sale? My understanding is that the guys who were actually issued the stock did worse, but I have no hard facts.

(For the record, I already elected to sell my claim. I'm no fan of owning stock in the company that provides your paycheck.)

I sold my claim and guess i got about $60+ per share. I was planning on waiting and buying UAL stock after I the initial offering. I changed my plan and bought non airline industry stock. Figured I need to stay diversified. My recommendation is to sell the claim and buy it on the open market afterward. The only thing to watch out for is the claim sale minimum. Make sure you are getting a reasonable amount of money for your shares. The market then will drive the price. Hope this helps
