CDG connection time

Hey all,

Traveling as a ticketed passenger on Air France from Slovenia to U.S. via CDG is 1 hour enough time to connect? I am a U.S. citizen if that is pertinent. Looks like it will be arriving terminal 2G and departing 2E. Thanks very much.

I don't think AF likes that kind of connection time.

As long as you are not late arriving,1hour should be enough.
Don't waste any time walking to transfer point.

It's an official Air France itinerary FWIW. Does anyone know if the EMB-145 on the first segment is similar to those in the states in terms of collecting your carry-on plane-side or jetway after the flight, or do they make you check it and collect it at baggage claim?

Its the same as here. They will put a planeside check ticket on it and get it back to on arrival at 2G.

A 1 hour connection is tight but can be done with no delays. You will need to take the bus from 2G to 2E and then if you are running on time you will arrive during boarding at 2E. Last time I did it I made it with about 15minutes to spare.

You pass through passport control at 2G since you are leaving the Schengen area. Just be careful to take the airside bus to 2E - don't follow the exit signs or you definitely won't make it!

Thanks very much, World. If we checked our bags would it save time?

I have never checked a carry on bag - I would say that getting a seat as close as possible to the front can be important if the flight is pretty full.
