BizPilot,
Their aren't a lot of corporate jet pilots that are trying but those who do have a greater chance percentage wise then a pure 121 person. They prefer the go out of your way to go the extra mile attitude that corporate jet guys bring. On my interview day every corporate pilot got the job (their were 5 that day).

JetBlue's hiring mins inline with the rest of the industry or are higher? Nothing on APC profile page and a search finds old information of 1500 TT and 500 PIC, and college degree.
Is this still the same?
Also, how about competitive mins?
Thanks!

Not necessarily the case for military guys with turboprop experience coming from the P-3, C-130, C-12 or C-23 communities. I think they are getting a lot of love! But then again, JetBlue seems to be very proactive in wanting to reach out to military veterans (as evidenced by the recent Open House that was sponsored by them to target veteran job seekers).

Needs of the AF and all that, tried to get out of a TDY to go, but just couldn't swing it.

You're right, military was excluded.

It's all over the board here but I'd say north of 4000TT and 1000TPIC will put you right in the ballpark. FMS and Glass as well as jet have been highly preferred.

Not sure who United or US have been calling but I know guys getting called have been in line with Spirit and Virgin (more of a sample since they've done more hiring.)

I'm sitting at 3700 TT, 2200 PIC, C-130 and T-1 instructor and evaluator, and I'm the Chief Pilot in my squadron.

In the meantime, I thank you for your service to our country.

On the fighter side, I don't think they do, but on the airlift side, we have a senior pilot, responsible for training, evaluation and order within the pilot side of the squadron. Our loadmasters have the same thing.
