Cheese has slid off TSA's cracker
From the YGTBSM file....the TSA is relaxing the ban on certain items allowed on planes starting in April. Pocket knives (meeting size criteria), golf clubs, hockey sticks and lacrosse sticks will be allowed in cabins. The reason given is this will allow TSA screeners to concentrate on detecting explosives.

Pretty sure blades shorter than 3" have been allowed for several years. The rest of the sports gear is no big deal. Pretty sure the cockpit door is hockey stick proof.

I'd kill to be able to carry a pocketknife again...:)
I mean I'd be very supportive of such a policy change, not that I'd actually cause the death of any human or animal to bring it about. (Except kittens. Yeah, a few more wouldn't be a problem for me) |
except for pocket knives, who cares?

Well, that's great for you on your side of the door but what about the crew BEHIND it as well as passengers who could very easily fall victim to a psycho.
