Female pilots talk fast.
 

Listen for yourself but this is what I have heard.
Seems to me that darn near every female pilot
on the radio always talks fast. This seems to be true for
female controllers also. Especially if it is busy or hectic.

Not that there is anything wrong with talking fast but it seems
to be a common trait? any guesses why.

Not trying to flame all the girls, It just seems interesting to me.

I'm female and yes, I probably talk a little fast on the radio. It's to compensate for talking slow at work or in the bedroom. ;)

Pain.... it is all about the pain
 

Women talk fast because they know they only have our attention for a short time period. As soon as you have tagged it they know your attention will head elsewhere so it has become their moral imperative to get in as many words as fast as possible. Especially American women, with them the pain will continue until you just leave.........:)

How 'slow' are we talking about here...? ;)

Me I'm already programmed such that everytime I hear a female voice I automatically change frequencies....

Daughter: Because I really don't want to know that much about it!
