We need a CBA to move forward in this situation.
HOLY F_IING S!!!!H!!!I!!!T. Did you just quote Reagan and demand a union CBA in the same post????????

Pull your head out of your ###.
The point that your childish ego driven mind failed to realize is we need to band together. If it makes you warm and fuzzy I could quote Ralph Nader. If you can't see that great leaders come from both sides of the aisle then I pity you and wish you luck!

Cute. You're right, no irony what-so-ever.

Keep voting for anti-union republicans while demanding better pay and benefits through a CBA.

Default Kudos to JetBlue's Pilot Voting Committee!

If people only voted for the party that represented their interests, only about 1% of the vote would go to the republicans. So yeah, it makes sense that he says that. Republicans are used to cognitive dissonance. They vote for the interests of the ultra rich, but are themselves (relatively) poor.

But I digress... Now back to our regularly scheduled b!tch session.

Who said I was a republican, considering I have never voted for a republican president it is a far stretch to call me a republican. I said great leaders come from both sides of the aisle and yes I do believe in balanced government. I am sorry that you didn't understand that point. The *****ing may now resume.

Slick Bill Clinton didn't help the APA when we struck. Party matters little. The government is in the pocket of management, has been for at least 20 years.

All they (the govt) cares about is the flying public, and cheap tickets for them and their constituents. We are on our own.

Clinton allowed the USAir Mechanics and NWA and Polar Pilots to Strike. One was represented by the IAM and the other two by ALPA. I'm Not throwing stones at APA, but just maybe smaller independent Unions don't have any or near as much influence on Capitol Hill as National Unions.

I agree with you that the only thing our Leaders in Washington care about (Both sides) is lining their own Pockets! The ALPA PAC is larger than any Independent Pilot Union PAC (if they even have one) that I know of. In Washington, You have to Pay to Play. It is how business on the Hill is done......Unfortunately that is the reality.

The fix was in even before our strike. AA sent a company email to every pilot during the strike basically saying "The President has called off your strike. Get back to work, dogs."

The time stamp on the bulk email was BEFORE the strike was called by the APA president.

The reason - "economic harm." UPS had a strike about the same time, which was allowed to proceed, even though the economic harm from it was 5X that of AA.

I'm not sure who was paid off. I'm still well and truly hacked over that whole thing.
