Comply or deplane, simple as that. Their religion was just circumstantial.

Are you flipping high?! Obviously you've never dealt with NY Hasidic Jews. How about giving the crew some credit? I'll agree with you that some FAs are out of control and downright nasty with pax, but the fact that they had to throw 100 of them off should say something about just how misbehaved they were.

Go deal with the people in question for a while and then come back and talk to us about their social skills (or lack thereof), demeanor, and downright hostility towards women in general (most FAs).

In this case maybe this was the crews last trip and they wanted an easy leg, kick off 100 plus passangers, easy leg for the cabin crew.

Have you ever heard of this thing called spellcheck? It wonderful and comes highly recommended.

When does the team start to kick in---Oh, I know, when the last AirTran guy retires in 2090

Surprised or what? Why? Just remember, it's like some of the old Morris guys that are at SW now will tell you......you will never truly be one of "them".

But I digress from the topic at hand....

Wow. That wasn't generalizing/stereotyping at all

It wasn't solely about the phones. Albeit, I've seen it too, in this case they were standing up while the door was closed and being rambunctious. This is all hear-say though as I was not in the plane.

And now it's about religion. Their religion has nothing to do with how they act in public. Unfortunately, I have met some arrogant hasids but by no means are 100% of hasids arrogant or self-entitled.

True...I'm a New Yorker and while your statement is true I also want to add that I was a little surprised since young Hasids are usually quiet and respectful (especially to their elders). Very out of character UNLESS society has caught up with them and they have that teenage mentality.

I highly doubt the crew gave a rat's ass what religion, color or sex they were. If truth be told, some of the most arrogant/entitled passengers are middle-aged white businessmen!

The crew kicked off 100 Hasidic Jewish kids from NYC.

Lets think about that for a sec.

How many family-related attorneys do you think they are in a group of 100 Jewish kids from NY.

Just saying...

 Seriously??

Yeah, because NO other groups whip out the "I'm contacting my lawyer about my mistreatment" card...

Java I was simply replying to the anti-SWA rant thrown out by the usual Delta suspects. It was rightly pointed out that it was an AirTran operated flight with AT crews using AT policies and procedures, all of which is true. You can't harp on how terrible Southwest F.A.'s and policies are when technically it was AT F.A.'s and procedures. Then I agreed they did a good job and said if it was a SWA flight it would have been handled similarly. What else do you want from me?
