Do they contact your current airline and ask them or do they just ask the applicant?
|
How is it even legal for them to ask, or more importantly, how can your previous carriers divulge sick time reports? Isn't that a huge invasion of privacy?

As long as you havent called in sick every holiday, you're fine and I wouldn't worry about it. They are only looking at that.
I was interview by the man that never called in sick and just recently retired. I asked what they were looking for, and he said that. Does anyone really believe he was never sick in 45 years? How many FOs did he get sick? |

I don't think they understand exactly how much I hate my current job.

I only call in sick when i really need it.. What else do they make you sign?? The only information that is legal for them is the information under PRIA. (I am not sure if the affordable care act will change anything..) I bet year one on probation is pretty intense..If I don't get accepted into the mighty Delta because I had a cold then I guess it is not the place I want to be.. With that being said, DAL looks like a great opportunity after all the flows have gone..
