US Airways not so great at tweeting...

Hilarious…I so enjoy when companies fail at social media. I'm guessing someone is looking for a new job today.

US Airways apologized for an extremely graphic photo that it shared earlier today, depicting a naked woman in a sexual position with a toy plane.

This is a link to the article from Huffington post.
US Airways Tweets Out VERY NSFW Photo Of Woman With Toy Plane

This will probably generate revenue for them.

the twitter replies on USAirways are great. This stuff writes itself.. #usairways

Somebody at US Air really screwed up!

http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/...pskhzxdnkc.jpg

Someone at US sent a tweet to their US Customers and even tried to re-tweet the picture to American ... of a lady with a 777 model in her nether region ... suggesting that is where a US Air's customer's relations team was located.

Social media fail of massive proportions.

Maybe the post was right. The puns go on forever; "screwed" only starts to describe it.

Of the best replies ...

"Oh, no wonder they haven't found that 777 yet."

"Welcome to Jackson, Mississippi"

"Wow look, US Air Customer Service actually replied!"

bottoms up 04-14-2014 12:38 PM

Guess that gives the "Plane is coming from the hangar" a new meaning now.

LNL76 04-14-2014 01:18 PM

Now THAT is funny!

mexipilot84 04-14-2014 01:18 PM

Well we found MH370, no wonder they couldn't find the black box pings, too much interference from the deep abyss.

Nah, the 717/88 is the way to go. It's all about how many times you can do it in a day and still get back up [in the air]

WB guys can't do it more than once without a 24 hour layover to recover :D

I really don't get the big deal. It's just a picture of USAir landing at newark.

crxpilot 04-14-2014 04:36 PM

Ole one eye....

l2flare 04-14-2014 06:01 PM

should have offered that overnight in the last concessionary contract probably woulda passed...

Thedude 04-14-2014 09:19 PM

Good thing it wasn't an Asiana aircraft or that "low" approach would have a most undesirable entry.

Gotta say the thread starter's "screen name" is very apropos. :)

Whats the big deal? it's just a cockpit swallowing a cockpit!!!!

This thread has a winner.

Timbo 04-15-2014 02:12 PM

The picture is obviously faked, everyone knows US Air doesn't have any 777's!

UNLESS....

that's the American Airlines "Merger Committee" working on a US Air Pilot!

Naw...wrong hole, and she would be bent over the other way.

Brings a new take to the old joke ...

"Do you smoke after sex?"

"I don't know, I've never looked."

Only had 3 E120 fires during my 1,000 hours on that POS.

FixTheMess 04-15-2014 07:38 PM

That unusual attitude is unrecoverable. Should have gone around the radar shadow instead of penetrating it. Sometimes it's just best to avoid showers.

80ktsClamp 04-15-2014 07:44 PM

The shocker?

JetMonkey 04-15-2014 09:30 PM

Well, no one can accuse US Airways for not having enough leg room now..

ShyGuy 04-16-2014 07:01 AM

Does that 777 have a shaker?

Hope she used Type IV on that!

She was simply doing a visual demonstration of her flight experience to KLIT.

I'm as guilty as the next guy, but I've provided the URL to this thread to no less than three of my non-pilot friends as evidence of what dorks we all are.

portfo 04-16-2014 07:45 AM

How's the visibility in there? Can you see Uranus?
