Default Sun Country DFW

I see that Sun Country has several year round flights out of DFW. Do ya'll have DFW RON's or is it just a stop over? Secondly, I understand that a lot of the pairings are day trips out of MSP; how easy would it be to commute from DFW?

We have year round flights out of DFW. In the summer months they really pickup. We have 2-4 day trips out of DFW year round. Day trips out of MSP go senior so multi-day trips would be easy to get after you get off reserve(3-4 months). I am not sure how the commute is but if you are commuting on a SY flight you will have no problem getting on. It's not like nreving on Delta out of ATL.

Thanks for the info! When you say "out of DFW" is it multiple RON's in DFW on the same trip or do you just hit it once per trip?

Multiple days overnighting in DFW. We basically do out and backs to the Caribbean, Mexico, Costa Rica, etc. out of DFW and stay overnight for 2-3 nights in a row in DFW. Most of our multi-day trips are out of DFW, IFP, MIA and now GPT and then throw some random charters in there.

That is what I always hear from the guys here that jump on y'all all the time.
Last question: I am well aware that everything is subject to change but how confident are those that work there that it is a "career" airline?

Does Sun Country have a Defined benefit retirement? If not, it is a job, not a career.

Then there are no aviation careers in the US airline world.
