Anyone else on here at the interview?
Interview: 5/29
Phase 2 email: 6/6
Received copy of pria records from faa and Skywest.
Haven't heard anything since. Looks like April interviews are just getting phase 2 complete emails.

5500 tt
1500 tpic
550 in last 12 months
Been in every seat at Skywest.
Went to women in aviation in March and I'm sure that's why I had an interview.
Great group of people and interview experience. Was told to expect late fall early winter class if all is good. The wait sucks but hopefully hear something soon.

Update:
7/25 - received phase 2 complete email.
Got a list of class dates and was told to expect to wait 4-6 months for class. The hard part is done and I can't wait to get started and meet everyone at blue.

LGB is quite senior, however, earlier this year about 3-5 newbies got it either in class or the next system bid.. I've seen waits for LGB go longer than 2 years. If you get LGB plan on being reserve for many years. First officers are there for a lifestyle reason as most of them could hold captain slots on the east coast.
MCO isn't growing and is pretty senior.
Good luck.

Junior bases are JFK and BOS. FLL should be growing soon and you may see some openings there.

Last thing. What does reserve look like in terms of work rules. What does an average line holders schedule look like. How bad are schedules for commuters. I am really looking at jetBlue. but currently live in TN and am concerned about the commute. I am originally from the LGB area and thinking of moving back.

Sorry, can't help you with reserve questions.
As for commuting...it seems that JFK has better trips for commuting than BOS. Don't know about commuting to LGB.
Maybe someone else could help answer these questions.
Average line holder? Difficult to answer. If you live in base and can hold one-day trips your daily productivity will be high (7+hours/day). Bottom line holders get the un-commutable 4-5day trips with low average daily credit.

A320 reserve typically means a lot of redeyes, but they are commutable (late PM start, early AM finish). Plan on flying 50-60+ hrs in the summer and 20-30 in the slow months (Sept, Oct, Feb, Mar).
Commuting from TN I'm assuming you'll be out of MEM, so get familiar with riding on FedEx. It will be a crappy commute, but commuting LGB-JFK would be worse.

Hello All! I just spoke to the Pilot Recruitment team and they gave the following update:
- October 15th training class will be filled by March 20th interviewee's
**Depending on the results of the most recent system bid posted to current JB Pilots, this class may or may not cover all March 20th Poolies. More than likely there will be some spill over to the October 29th class, and if there is a lot of training events triggered by the current system bid they may even spill into November 12th.
- Class sizes are expected to grow in November and December back to previous rates, with the possibility of the October classes growing a bit as well depending on the system bid's results.
- April 8th Poolies are up next for class dates after the completion of the March 20th group. Followed by April 29th and finally May 29th Poolies.
- Upcomming class dates are: October 15, October 29, November 12, December 3
The moral of the story... The wait surely isn't easy and they know that. And a lot of numbers for upcomming classes are all dependant on the close and results of the current system bid. So...March 20th poolies be ready because your up next!
