Default Spirit load check?

Trying to JS, ORD-MYR on Saturday 30 Aug.

Load Check?

Also, any info on procedures/fees associated with jumpseating on Spirit would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Why would you say that when the guy two above you said "PM sent"? Giving loads out on a board like this isn't something you should ever do.

Why? It'll be oversold by 10 on the travel day anyway.

What am I missing here? Say reason.

You can go on most airline's websites and see the open seats on a flight.

You can never get the EXACT load without insider access, just a general idea (you can see see some of the open seats, but never all of them, nor if the flight is oversold). The reason that info is behind a password: airlines oversell flights. A strategic revenue passenger buys a ticket on an oversold flight, then takes the denied boarding compensation. Airlines lose $ on that. Thus no airline allows the exact loads to be available to the traveling public, or even non-revenue travelers who are not employed by the airline offering the travel, and why you have to ask what the loads are.

Furthermore, since any open seat represents lost revenue to the airline, access to load data could allow a passenger to glean pricing strategy on that flight - if it's got 60 seats open with 2 weeks to go, the price is more likely to go down than up, so a passenger could hold off on a purchase decision, knowing the availability will be there, and the price isn't likely to go up.

It is indeed poor form to publish these load #'s on an open forum, and could, if it became rampant, reduce access to load figures for those within the company if abused.
