Was a 1330 9/16 interview. Still nothing, but sitting here watching Sterling. Looks like finally complete. What has been the time frame after seeing the background complete ? Are you getting a date at first contact?

8-12 weeks seemed excessive, but now that I'm in that time frame, I guess not.

Anyone else from 9/16 riding in my boat.

Dude I feel ya. Got the call today for 12/4. Background completed 2 weeks ago. (I only know that cause I called sterling 1-2x weekly for status updates) No notification from anyone except for the call today. I was 1030am on 9/16. Hang in there brotha, waiting is tough.
See everyone else on the 4th!

I'm in 9/30 interview group and it looks like my check was just completed today. I'm guessing the length of time depends on the number of past employers and their response time to the request? I've heard they always try to give two weeks notice for class date which would be this Thursday for 12/4 class date. I'm hoping to hear in early January. Good luck!

9/16 interview colleagues - I received a conditional offer to start training on Jan 7th. She mentioned that the class would only be 7 total new hires. If anyone else is headed that way, feel free to PM me.

What's a conditional offer?

AFPirate 12-05-2014 06:31 PM

They run your fingerprints through the FBI and the some other last minute checks that supposedly Sterling doesn't accomplish prior to training. Hence the "conditional".

I Hope that number picks up quickly for future classes or the wait to get out of the pool might get lengthy.

I wonder why only 7 newhires?! I thought classes were supposed to be bigger in Jan. :(

Got an email I passed phase 2! Hoping to class up in Mar/Apr. I was getting nervous and replied back to Royce's email with the awesome update. I wonder if the email is because you all got classed. Good luck to you all!
