Class I Medical BWI/DCA area

Looking for a new AME in the area...I know where to find names on the FAA website but would like feedback from pilots who have actually been to one. My prior guy, Dr Hislop was good but last time I went I got the new guy(possibly his replacement) who got a little too thorough for my liking:eek:

Thanks.

I used to work at Martin State Airport in Essex, MD near Baltimore and found my doc by asking around the corporate pilots and the folks at the FBO. Unfortunately, my doc retired and I live in FL now.

Just a thought...hope it helps. Stay away from the thorough doctors..LOL.

About 100 miles, so I hope to find someone closer...I'll keep it in mind though. Thanks.

Doc Vlahos in Sterling, VA (Just north of IAD).

It's where all of the FSDO inspectors go to get their medicals, and I'm waiting for the day when he starts to offer medicals by phone... He's now a retired that only does FAA medicals a few days each week.
