Default Atlanta living?

Tell me about where to live in the Atlanta area. Pros, cons, schools. I've researched extensively on the net, but need some first-hands from folks living the life. Thanks!

Are you married or single. Do you have kids and what ages? Without knowing that hard to give any relevant advice.

Married, 50-ish, but raising 4 year old GB. Also have wife who hates traffic and congestion. Would like good elementary school, at least.

Wherever you choose I highly recommend researching traffic. Atlanta is notoriously bad. Rush hour can start at 6:30 and last until 9:30/10 in the morning and from 3-6:30//7 in the afternoon. Add in a Friday and/or bad weather and it's even worse. Traffic can double your commute time and from certain locales there's not much you can do about it. Subway system is virtually useless to much of the city.

Check out Peachtree City and Newnan areas. Lots of airline employees on that side of town.

If I ever get a call from Big D, this is where I'd be looking to relocate...

Also really liked Marietta.

Live South of the airport. I think down 85 has less traffic than 75. I really like Newnan

You can buy my house, start your own militia, check the area while arriving on the WARRR arrival, and it's only 35 mins to the lot!

Hunt, fish, trap right on the property!

Wife gets a gun, (for protection of course), you get multiple guns.....

It's a win-win!

PM me for info!

Oh, one thing.....the schools kinda suck in Newnan!
