It'll never work!

Indoc dates

I called to let them know that I would be willing to start Indoc sooner, in case someone fell out of a class date that starts in January. FYSA, they go down the list based on SSN and date of interview to fill in for those dropping out. Takeaway: we will be called and provided the earliest possible date without having to do anything.

Good to know! Can't wait to see how this process unravels.

Merry Christmas, fellas!

They offered me a class date, but I turned it down. Got enough single engine time.

FlyMarines 12-25-2014 05:20 PM

Uboat, say again after...."They..."

I'm feeling kind of dumb. When I read it initially, I thought this was a joke thread for a job posting for Wright Flyer pilots. Hence the comment about single-engine time. Re-reading it, I see I couldn't be further from the truth.

Hahahaha...all good!

Hey guys. Excerpt from my last email.

I have been following the "Delta Poolie" and "Delta bases" threads and there is tons of information passed almost hourly. I use Tapatalk and I get notifications instantly when somebody post something new.

1. Sorry if you already know all this information.
2. Get account with airlinepilotcentral.com.
3. Use that account to log into the forums.
4. jump through the group to be able to post and read everything. They are specific in the requirements. Dumb.
5. Search for DELTA POOLIE, DELTA BASES, DELTA HIRING NEWS. Subscribe to each one using the THREAD TOOLS. You may have to hunt around a little bit. It is not 100% intuitive. I know I already lost Tommy at number two, but hopefully he sees the word "hunt" and is back in the game.
6. Download tapatalk for your smartphone
7. Login to airlinepilotcentral forums ON tapatalk with your airline pilot central account and set up your notifications.
8. I found it easier to take two and a half seconds and read the most recent post, versus trying to catch up on days and days and days of junk to find the 2% of extremely valuable information. But that 2% has been really helpful in budget planning and my wishlist.

If you want more information on how to do this, hit me up.

Happy New Year!
