Thanks. :) However stabilities and yaw damping return once out of the upset attitude- that was the big discussion.

The tail failed at approx 2.03 design load factor. That is as expected.

Like it or not, if you end up flying anything other than a 737 or older Boeing, you WILL be flying something that is being managed by a computer.

Understood. I didn't say that the previous upset caused the tail to come off, but even the NTSB hinted that it might have played a role...one of the things I think they got right.
