App for commuting
 

What is most popular app (iphone) for checking flight status and connections? Other than specific airline apps. Often do a double leg so ideally type in airport X as origination and want to get to airport Z as ultimate destination but would like to see options for connections. Free or a few bucks ok. Thanks

I like flight board. It doesn't serve the purpose you described, but it is useful after you're done with your trip or get to your connection point and trying to figure out the very next flight home and departing gate. I've caught plenty of "commute flight of opportunity" with this app and very happy with it.

Put me in the flight board hat. It has proven to be very handy.
