Default Delta Non Rev Question

Just a quick question for seasoned Delta non rev travelers. I am listed on an international flight for tomorrow. Deltanet is showing 25 open seats in business yet it's showing -25 in coach. Will they fill those oversolds into business? Am I risking it trying to get on this flight?

Yes. Involuntary upgrades.

You can look at the "Authorized Available" numbers which are based on historical no-shows -- and hope. And we all know hope is never a good strategy.

In the other direction some nonrevs decide to list for a flight at the last minute, after you've left for the airport.

Also many non revs like to list for the same flight every day for a week or so. A couple parties of 2-6 doing that nonsense can really mess up your planning. I wish they wouldn't allow that.

This is a good news bad news deal. Bad news is you may not get on the flight. The good news is if you get on you will be in Business.
