Blue pilots.com?
 

Just wondering if any of you other B6 new hires were able to register for the BluePilots .com website. I keep getting "last name and employee number don't match"

I had the same problem......

I know this doesn't work for everyone, but:

Once you show up on a published seniority list (updated in January and July each year) try sending an email from your jetblue.com email address to [email protected] asking to add you to the list so you can register. You probably won't get a response, but usually within a week or two you'll be able to sign up.

This hasn't worked for me for 2 years now. It has for others. Guess I'm on the no fly list. YMMV.

You aren't missing anything. Same 10 guys all jerking each other off.

You say that like its a bad thing. :-) blue pilots is a great place to find out what is going on on the line if you are able to add your own reality check to it. My advice is don't get caught up in the anger and take each post and poster for what it is... A message board. Other than that it's a lot of fun to watch the melt downs but there is a tremendous amount of good information on there too.

Gotta weed through the BS, but there is some great info there and it's a good spot to ask questions.

I disagree. It's a bunch of BS, and very little good information. Those guys THINK they are the pulse of the pilot group, but they aren't at all.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's worthless. There's some BS on there sure, but I betcha the BOS LEC rep, BPF founder, NC member, and multiple committee members (among others) that participate over there would be interested to know you think they're all the same 10 guys jerking each other off.
BP also called the health insurance change and was where BPF and both ALPA drives really coalesced. It's where we first found out how bad the lodge was gonna stink. I'd say it's closer to the pilot group pulse than a relative newbie with thin skin.
