What pilots took pay cuts after 9/11?
#12
I know, I know, "it was a concessionary contract to begin with". Whatever.
Considering it was after 9/11, and people were still taking hits, and we signed near the amendable date, it was (IMHO) a good thing.
Oh yeah,
200% for Junior manning which they can only do twice in one month, or five times in a year (or this year, over Christmas, and New Year's).
150% for most trips picked up on a day off. And AT LEAST 4 days off between pairings.
It will all change soon probably. Or "new" DO says we are "fat" on work rules, and "thin" on compensation.
PBS, more "effecient" flying, are being discussed, for increase in pay.
