Default FAA About To Be In VERY Hot Water

A six month investigation of the FAA’s new hiring practices has uncovered changes that put the nation’s flying public at risk as well as allegations that the newest air traffic control recruits had access to answers on a key test that helped them gain jobs with the FAA.

Also uncovered was an FAA effort to promote diversity that discarded 3000 qualified college graduates with degrees in air traffic control despite their following FAA procedure and obtaining FAA accredited degrees.

U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren (IL) said. “The latest report elevates the need to dig deeper to find out what the FAA is hiding. What is clear is that the FAA’s lack of transparency and disturbing agenda puts the safety of our skies at risk. I repeat: it’s time to compel the FAA to come before Congress to answer for their actions.”

I didn't even realize you could get a degree in Air Traffic Control.

Embry-Riddle hands out a lot of BS degrees if you're willing to pony up the cash for it..

Apparently if you are the wrong race or gender, it's not worth much.

What's really incredible is that Reilly had the answers and STILL failed!

Along these same lines, a well known actress' brother recently fessed up. He had been turned down repeatedly for med school.

So he reapplied as black.

5 acceptances. He said he attended for a year or so and got bored and quit.

I am less concerned with racial preferences than I am with whether the "preferred" have the creds to do the job. Hence the connection with the FAA story.

The FAA isn't hiding anything. They said they were going to do this. With Obama, Eric Holder, and Anthony Fox at the helm what did people expect?

Oh yes it is.

And it's messing with the public safety in order to implement the political left's agenda for social engineering, up to and including giving the answers to it's test for new applicants that fit in with that agenda.

Whistle-blowers have the recorded evidence of it.

I would think those who benefited from this would be upset that those who devised this didn't think they were smart enough to do it on their own.

Yeah, Obama and Eric Holder spend their time sorting through resumes for Air Traffic Controllers. Good point. Thanks for adding valuable information to the conversation.

There are about a dozen schools that have ATC programs. ERAU and UND are the largest, I believe. It was supposed to be a direct program right into the FAA training in Oklahoma City. Why on earth the FAA would not take all of these ATC grads and hire from the streets is beyond belief. I have friends that did the ATC program in college and they said it was virtually identical training to what the FAA provides for new hire controllers.
