Why so defensive 4th? Truth hurt? What does it say about a company's Flt Ops culture when now that we're flying to more challenging destinations and terrain, the company feels it necessary to bring 8000 pilots in on a day off and spend eight million dollars to lecture them on all the incidents and near disasters we've had?

Maybe it was two Trannies. That's bound to happen at some point, but let's not kid about the CULTure of rushing at SWA that's lead to so many of these taxiway/runway excursions before and during the time that the Trannies showed up on campus.

Stereotypes and running jokes are founded on at least some part truth. Read the title of this thread. It contains the word "again" for a reason

Oh please, please, please......

Dude, he is trolling. Just let him throw his baby tantrum. It is sad because it gives the 99 percent of FAT pilots who are great dudes and ladies a bad name.

Mistakes happen. It is unfortunate. Thankfully nobody was hurt.

United 737 slips off Houston runway, gets stuck in mud

Trolling?! Really? Are you that blind and/or conceded to not recognize that these types of incidents CONTINOUSLY happen at SWA and it's because of the rushing/get the mission done/taxi at break-neck speeds/cut the taxi lines/etc. practices that are so prevalent at this airline?

Are you denying that these types of incidents continously happen?

Taxiway. Not runway.

That SWA calculates a V1 speed for their taxi to and from the runway is irrelevant..

SW did not use RTO for many years. Did it have something to do with high taxi speeds? Inquiring minds want to know.

At least one of them had lots of airline experience, including the not so unique (for a VJ guy) experience of crossing a certain line on 36th St. in 1989, and then went on to an illustrious career at Valujet before Trans-itioning over to WN left seat.....

We definitely need more of these kinds of go getters around here!!!

Doesn't sound like a big deal. Stuff happens.

SWA has line-crossers?

We had 3 or 4 (depending on who you ask) on the list before the acquisition. The AT acquisition brought a bunch with them. The line crosser in question was an acquired line crosser.........

Can someone post a current list of the line crossers so I can know the kind of person I'm flying with now that the AT acquisition has brought a few over to SWA. Thanks.
